"Judith Ploberger's work shows strong influences of New Objectivity in its engagement with the human
subject: her portraiture style is frank and insightful, her subjects complicated and thoughtful. The artist's
work holds an element of drama, a compelling narrative tension created by its mysterious characters.
My personal favourite is "Shallow Waters" where I feel the subject matter, colours and composition as a
whole work really well together".
